Seller:The Great Pumpkins, an American band with two albums, sold for $3 million on Tuesday.
The buyer, whose identity was not revealed, told Forbes the buyer was “very excited about this sale” and said he and his family are planning a trip to New York City to celebrate the sale.
“It’s something that’s been something that I’ve always wanted to do, so it’s kind of an amazing day to be able to do,” he said.
We are all excited and excited about it, said the seller, who asked that his last name not be used.
After a five-year run, the band is headed to a new album.
The band has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide.
The group released its first album, 2012’s “Pumpkins” in 2018, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Last year, the group’s new album, “Pow Wow,” was released in September.
